Digital ID cards can be accessed 24/7 by creating an account with BlueCross BlueShield of Alabama online at AlabamaBlue.com. To create your account, you will need to use your Group/Contract number.

To find your Group/Contract Number, please log in at students.care26.com and open the menu on the right-hand side of your dashboard. If you have active coverage, you can find your contract number and other information there. You will need this information to set up your myBlueCross account.

Once you click on the below link, please select “Shop Off Exchange”. Payment will be direct to BCBSAL.

Domestic Plan
All full-time domestic students enrolled, as well as co-op students enrolled on a full-time basis, are eligible to enroll in this insurance plan on a voluntary basis. Online credits count toward the minimum hours, but may not exceed 50% of hours required for eligibility.

International Students and Scholars

All non-immigrant students and scholars and their Dependents in F and J status who are attending or participating in a program at Auburn University at Montgomery and J scholars employed by AUM but not eligible for AUM BCBS are automatically enrolled in this insurance plan on a mandatory basis. Student on OPT are eligible to enroll by contacting the Office of Global Initiatives. Online credits count toward the minimum hours, but may not exceed 50% of hours required for eligibility. Dependents can be voluntarily enrolled in the primary account holder’s plan. Waiver for participation may be granted at the discretion of the administrator for students who are already covered under certain government or embassy sponsored plans.

Continuation coverage is available for students who no longer meet eligibility. Student must be enrolled previous semester to be eligible. All students and their dependent(s) can purchase three (3) months of additional medical coverage. (Dental is not available.) Continuation must be purchased within thirty one (31) days of the current coverage termination date.
